- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I hate writing these reviews but this experience really bothered me so here I am. I went in to this office earlier today and was dealing with another business in the same building. I was looking at the brochures at their front door...there was brochures from the chamber of commerce, the realtor office, and different brochures and businesses information. There was about 5 of the "free" newspapers in one of the cubicles and I happened to be on the front page of the paper that day. I was going to run to West Columbia to get me a copy of that paper but I saw they had copies in this cubicle where it "appeared" to be for the public. This was a display like you would see the brochures in a hotel for things to do in the area. I was in the paper along with a group of people supporting veterans and we have a historical book that we keep up so I needed a copy of the paper to put in this historical book. I hear "Put that down mam" in a real stern voice. It took me a minute to realize he was talking to me. So I looked at him and saw him and a lady was staring at me and he said, "you can't have those, I was saving those for someone else". It wouldn't have bothered me so much if his tone weren't such as he was scolding me. It was just rude. I politely said "ok. I can get one somewhere else". Then the lady came and told me, I need you to move your car. It was my car (IN A PARKING SPOT IN FRONT OF THE BUILDING) and a realtor van that was not in a parking spot but blocking her from leaving from the back of the building. I don't know why these people were so ugly to me but my goodness.....they were RUDE! I was just polite back because sometimes its best not to reciprocate the unpleasantry. The place reeks of cigarette smoke and I was not impressed with their mannerisms! I deal with businesses and people all the time. This was definitely not normal behavior.May 03, 2017by Kim Stephenson
